How We Calculate

All figures are in Egyptian pounds (EGP). Empty fields count as zero, and we tell you when that makes the comparison incomplete.

Typical per-user subscription ERP

  • Subscription, year 1: users × first-12-months price × 12 × FX rate (if the introductory price is empty, the normal price is used).
  • Subscription, years 2–5: users × price per user / month × (1 + annual increase)year − 1 × 12 × FX rate × (1 + yearly rise in the USD rate)year − 1.
  • Implementation (year 1 only): implementation days × partner day rate.
  • Partner support (years 2–5): annual retainer, each year.
  • Hosting (years 1–5): hosting per year, each year.

OptiFY ERP (owned licence)

  • Year 1: one-time licence from your OptiFY proposal + additional scope (installation, implementation, training and year-1 updates are included in the package).
  • Optional support & updates (years 2–5): licence × support % each year, only if the box is ticked.
  • Hosting (years 1–5): 0 on your own server, or the managed-hosting figure from your proposal.
  • Users: unlimited, so the number of users does not change the OptiFY cost.
  • No licence entered: OptiFY is priced per project, so the OptiFY column shows “—” until you enter the licence from your proposal. The subscription side still calculates in full.

Totals

  • 5-year total: the sum of years 1–5 for each column. The chart shows the running (cumulative) total at the end of each year.
  • Difference: subscription 5-year total − OptiFY 5-year total. If the subscription model comes out cheaper, we say so.
